Accessibility statement
The Polygon is committed to ensuring Parallelogram is a welcoming, barrier-free space for everyone.
To achieve our commitment, The Polygon is collaborating with Easy Surf—a disability-led digital accessibility consultancy—to conduct usability tests with people with disabilities. These tests are to help The Polygon uncover and address accessibility barriers and improve the experience of Parallelogram for everyone.
Testing
Easy Surf is currently testing Parallelogram with six Accessibility Consultants who use screen readers, magnification, and speech recognition and have neurodiverse needs.
The tests explore the digital exhibit's desktop and mobile experience, focusing on navigation, key pages, areas of interest, and content. They also cover several types of assistive technology to ensure the results capture broad perspectives.
Upcoming improvements
The Polygon will review the accessibility barriers and user feedback that Easy Surf uncovers and implement recommendations.
Feedback
The Polygon is committed to inclusivity, believing that art should be accessible to all people.
